Business Survival: Off the Record

Through collaboration with one of the largest chains of coaching centers in the country, the original framework of BioPicLab was developed. More small and medium-sized businesses were started with funding from that coaching center, where more than 4,000 people are currently employed.

Every service offered by BioPicLab was used as a consultant there several times. However, due to the company’s top management’s involvement in various sorts of corruption, it eventually became challenging to integrate into the system. It was disheartening that, despite frequently telling its director of this, nothing was done.

However, a few ideas started to take shape once the association with that group of businesses was fully terminated. One needs to look back to the days when they merely had a coaching business to understand why a group of firm directors supported unethical top management.

When coaching centers were of lower quality, the irony was less overt. When it came time to manage the local ward commissioner, police station chief, student leaders, journalists, etc., there was only one option: give them a cut of the profits. This is not the end; measures must be taken to stifle competing coaching services or stop new coaching from entering the market. And some of the top executives there were in charge of carrying out these tasks, so the group of companies did not write off the corruption or looting they committed as a cost of maintaining their own infrastructure. Off the record, these employees are taking care of all the needs of the organization even if they are referred to as crooked and incompetent in the business module. Their position is crucial to the operation of the company since they will perform work that cannot be performed by anyone else.
