Personality Process Mapping: Individual Case Study-II
Another project on personality process mapping involved a young person participating in three sessions with BiopicLab. He attended a private university, comes from a wealthy family, and both his father and uncle are deceased. As the uncle had no children, the two brothers got all the property and a house on 5 acres of land in Comilla. Three years have passed, but he hasn’t sat for the final exam for his graduation. He now rents a flat with friends, spends days and nights consuming marijuana and watching porn on his laptop, and has tried to commit suicide several times. The high that is created under the influence of marijuana is enjoyed, and it goes on chain for him every day.
He was asked what his motive was for doing these sessions. He says to muster up the courage to take the final exams and give up marijuana. Although the word “session” appears repeatedly in the text, and it sounds like something very heavy, in reality, it is just a chat, not a motivation of any kind.
At the end of the first session, he was asked to write down or record something about himself from 15 close people before the next session. Despite the fact that 90% of these observations are brief, a pattern emerges.
At the end of all the sessions, it is realized that the main problem of the young person is to subconsciously establish that there is no challenge in meeting the needs of food and clothing for the rest of his life. He was given three tasks for the next two months.
1. Taking the local bus three or four times a day
2. Bringing only three thousand takas from home and attempting to survive without taking out a loan for two months. But he still has opportunities to earn money if he wants.
3. Working six days a week until 9:30 p.m. and going to bed by 12 a.m.
However, he is also asked to make a power point presentation on the purpose of the tasks and how they will be useful in his life.
Two months later, the young man contacted BioPicLab again, saying that his marijuana use had decreased. He was given new tasks, and it was said to him that he did not need to visit here anymore for a cure. If a person has to develop under constant supervision, it is more harmful for him. It destroys his individuality. While you are being taught the concept, figure out the rest on your own: that’s the theme BioPicLab tries to put into individuals.
